HYT celebrates 12th anniversary and launches T1 series New series with smaller housing for the first time

HYT is an outstanding Swiss copy luxury watches brand known for pioneering the use of fluid technology in timekeeping. To celebrate HYT’s 12th anniversary, the brand launches the T1 Collection, a new collection with a smaller 45mm case diameter. Introducing new designs and a new color spectrum, the spirit of the times is encapsulated through four new references.

The T1 series launches with two case options, one in titanium and the other in titanium. Titanium cases are available in salmon, anthracite and silver dials, while sophisticated gold and DLC titanium cases adorn midnight blue dials. All in a new diameter of 45mm, which as HYT mentions in the press release “ushers in a new chapter for the brand”. The brass dial features a rhodium-plated power reserve hand between 2 and 3 o'clock. The time display system operates via the drive of two highly flexible and durable bellows. When one reservoir containing a colored aqueous liquid expands, the other reservoir is compressed and vice versa, thereby facilitating the movement of fluid through the capillary tubes.

This mechanism represents the passage of hours by "pushing" the colored liquid, causing the column in the capillary to gradually become taller, while "pulling" the clear viscous liquid causes the column to become proportionally smaller. The meeting point of the two liquids forms a half-moon meniscus that indicates the hours on the scale. When it reaches the 6 o'clock position, the colored liquid column returns to its original position.
